JAIPUR NATIONAL CONSULTATION
National Consultation on Strengthening Routine Immunization
Under the MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation Equity (M-RITE) project, Ladli Foundation organized a national-level consultation on 23rd January 2023 in Jaipur. This pivotal event gathered government dignitaries, senior officials, healthcare professionals, program partners, community leaders, and key stakeholders includingChief Medical & Health Officers (CMHOs) and Reproductive and Child Health Officers (RCHOs) from four districts across Rajasthan, along with the District Education Officer from Rajsamand, Health Managers, school principals from Dausa, and relevant staff from Nagaur and Churu. Frontline health workers also attended, further enriching the dialogue with grassroots perspectives.
During the event, we shared our key learnings and grassroots experiences from the project with the assembled dignitaries and participants, who recognized and appreciated our innovative, community-driven approaches aimed at transforming routine immunization and enhancing resilience against future pandemics.
By bringing together the expertise of stakeholders from various sectors, the event empowered attendees with knowledge to address health system gaps, improve service delivery, and deepen community engagement.
EVENTS HIGHLIGHTS
Keynote Address : Esteemed speakers, including RCH Director Dr. K.L. Meena, Project Immunization Director Dr. Raghuraj Singh, State Nodal Officer (Immunization) Dr. Devinder Sondhi, and Vijay Paulraj, Senior Health System Strengthening Advisor, USAID/India, shared their perspectives on the project’s impact and future goals.
Panel Discussions and Interactive Sessions : Experts led dynamic discussions on critical aspects of the COVID-19 vaccination program, exploring both challenges and strategies for improvement. Participants engaged in Q&A sessions that fostered collaborative learning and open dialogue.
Networking and Collaborative Learning : Attendees connected with peers and exchanged ideas, promoting symbiotic learning to further advance routine immunization and pandemic preparedness.
