Education
Introduction
Despite significant strides in primary education, India continues to grapple with persistent educational disparities, particularly among marginalised communities. Socioeconomic factors, gender bias, and caste-based discrimination continue to hinder equitable learning opportunities. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated these inequalities, exposing the digital divide and limiting access to education for millions of children.
To address these challenges, this initiative focuses on providing basic education and vocational training to the most disadvantaged, including street children, ragpickers, and child beggars. By empowering uneducated women, we aim to uplift their lives and break the cycle of poverty. The Indian government's New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 highlights the importance of integrating technology in education. However, bridging the digital divide remains crucial to ensure inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for all.
It highlights the importance of inclusive education, STEM education, lifelong learning, and aligning educational efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to address these challenges and create a more equitable and inclusive education system for all children in India.

Stories of Change
My name is Ritik, and I live in Parvatiya Camp, Delhi. Due to a traumatic incident in my life, I had to drop out of school and lost all hope for a better future. Ladli Foundation’s Pathanshala program gave me a chance to start again. I received primary education for six months, where the team not only taught me but also motivated me to believe in myself. With their constant support, I regained my confidence and was enrolled in a nearby government school. Today, I am back on track, pursuing my studies and dreaming of a brighter future. I am truly grateful for the guidance and care that helped me begin this new journey.

My name is Vanshika, and I live in Rohini. My mother works as a domestic worker and cannot afford digital education devices or costly subscriptions. Through Ladli Foundation's Swabhiman Project, I was provided with a digital tablet pre-loaded with Byju’s e-content. This support has been a blessing for my education, bringing me closer to my dream of becoming a teacher. The tablet has given me access to quality learning resources that I never thought I could have. It feels like I now have the tools to pursue my goals with confidence. I am truly thankful to Ladli Foundation for empowering my education and giving wings to my dreams

My name is Anjali, and I live in a slum with my family, who are ragpickers. I used to work as a ragpicker too, but my life took a positive turn when Ladli Foundation found me. They sensitized my parents about the importance of education and enrolled me in their Pathanshala program, where I attended daily classes for two hours and received primary education. After eight months, the team counseled my parents again, emphasizing the value of formal schooling. With their support, I was successfully enrolled in Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. I am deeply thankful to Ladli Foundation for giving me the opportunity to pursue education and hope for a brighter future
